Two conscious casualties are in deep water 2 to 10 metres from safety.  A selection of rescue aids is available as specified by the Examiner.

Two conscious casualties are in deep water 15 to 25 metres from safety.  A selection of rescue aids is available as specified by the Examiner.

A conscious casualty is in deep water 100m from safety. The rescuer will start the test dressed in swimwear and long sleeved shirt, trousers or skirt, any of which may be  discarded as desired. 
No other rescue aids are available.

non-contact tow over 100m
assist to land from deep water
treat for shock.       Time limit is 6 minutes.

A conscious casualty is in deep water 100m from safety. Rescuer is 50m from
casualty. No aids are available.

escape and take defensive action
assist to land with help
provide aftercare
The casualty will attempt to grasp the rescuer before the tow starts and will struggle 3 times during the rescue.
An 'unconscious' casualty is submerging 45m from safety.
No rescue aids are available.
enter the water and swim 45m 
tow 45m to a point of support
shout for help, assess condition check for the pulse *
assuming no pulse, land the casualty with assistance
substitute casualty for a mannequin
perform CPR for two minutes
place in recovery position
provide aftercare
Time limit is 2 mins 45 secs to *
Three casualties, one of whom may be out of the water, are up to 25m from safety. The rescuer will start the test dressed in swimwear, long sleeved shirt, pullover and trousers or skirt. A selection of other rescue aids and bystanders may be made available.

The test will run for at least two minutes before the examiner may interrupt and ask for plans made and actions taken to be explained.
